Introduction
Manu Bhaker is an Indian sport shooter who is recently in the news for her impressive performance at the 2024 Olympics where she made India proud by becoming the first Indian women shooter to win an Olympics medal in the10m pistol event. She gained wide recognition after winning bronze medal in this game. In addition to this, she also won another bronze medal in the 10m pistol mixed team event which also makes her the first Indian women to win two medals in a single Olympics Games.

Early life and Education of Manu Bhaker
Manu Bhaker is an Indian who is born on 18 February 2002 in Goria, Haryana, India. Her father’s name is Ram Kishan Bhaker and he was a chief engineer in the Merchant Navy. Her mother’s name is Sumedha Bhaker who is a former school principal and a master of Sanskrit.
She has done her schooling at Universal Higher Secondary School in Goria which was owned by his own grandfather Shri Raj Karan. From the beginning she was the bright student who also participated in various sports such as Tennis, Skating, Manipuri martial-art thang-ta and boxing. Although she earned many medals in the national games but as a 14 years old sports enthusiast she decided to develop her interest in the shooting.
She is one of the luckiest persons who is supported by her family through-out her journey. Her father invested in her training while her mother helped her to cope up in the times of stress and pressure. At a very young age of 15 she become the top female shooters and won many gold medals at the 2017 National Games.
Along with her sports journey she also continued her studies and pursued Political Science at Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi. She completed graduation in 2021. She is also pursuing masters in Public Administration at DAV college, Chandigarh.
